Square Inch Price
Edge to edge quilting is 2.5 cents per square inch for most designs.
Example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches. 60 x 80 = 4800 x .025 = $120.00
Designs that have an asterisk after the name are 3 cents per square inch due to precision alignment or high density.
Current turn-around time: 4-6 weeks from the time I receive your quilt.
The minimum quilting charge is $50. This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $50 minimum. A great way to save is to send two small quilts with one large backing for both!
Batting
You have the option of using your own, high quality batting, or purchasing batting from me. I use and stock my favorite Quilters Dream batting in the 80/20 cotton/poly blend, 80/20 white, and 100% cotton. I also have limited quantities of packaged batting in stock, please ask for availability. I can special order other Quilter's Dream options upon request.
Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price.
I charge for batting by the linear inch from queen rolls of batting except in the case of special orders. I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 5" margin) and charge per inch.
For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 65" of the batting of your choice.

Thread
I stock both Glide (#40 & #50 weight) and some So Fine (#50) threads. I do not charge any extra fees for thread use, it's included in your square inch price.
My personal style attempts to match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
Binding Services
I do have optional binding services:

.10 cents/linear in.: Binding is attached to the front. YOU make binding and stitch to the back.

.15 cents/linear in.: Customer provides enough fabric for me to make binding strips AND Machine bind to the front. You stitch to the back.

.20 cents/linear in.: Binding is machine stitched to the front and back. YOU make 2.25 strips of binding. Quilt is returned finished!

.25 cents/linear in.: Customer provides enough fabric for me to make 2.5" strips AND machine bind to the front and back. Quilt is returned finished!
Shipping
Shipping your top and backing to me:
I live in Oregon, USA, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of sack or bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping:
I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf.
Photos
I'm not a professional photographer but I do my best to take "nice" photos. Upon completion of the quilting, I will take photos of your quilt and then text/email you those images to use however you would like. I'd just ask that you credit me for the photo and/or quilting if posting publicly. This extra service is included in your square inch price.
